This hotel is an absolute gem! The location right by the river is absolutely breathtaking. The hotel itself has such a classic and elegant atmosphere, with its well-maintained old charm. The breakfast they serve is of the highest quality, truly a feast to start your day. And despite the difficulty in finding a good restaurant for dinner in the area, the Croatian restaurant we stumbled upon was surprisingly delicious and worth the 20-minute walk. I definitely recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

The location, right on the Lahn River, was perfect for us to spend quality time exploring the area. We enjoyed renting bikes from the hotel and riding along the scenic bike paths along the river. The rooms were clean and elegant, with a charming old-world style. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The breakfast room was a highlight, with its elegant decor and a wide variety of delicious food options. it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay for our family.
My children wanted more activities specifically catered to kids.

From the moment we stepped into this majestic palace-like hotel, we were blown away by the grandeur and luxurious ambiance. The rooms were spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, ensuring a night of peaceful slumber. The spa area was absolutely mind-blowing, with a variety of saunas and a beautiful outside garden for relaxation. The breakfast spread was jaw-dropping, offering top-quality choices that satisfied even the pickiest eaters. The staff, although clueless about the bathrobes for sale, were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We also appreciated the option to use the wellness area after checking out, adding to the overall convenience and excellent service of this unforgettable hotel. Whether it's the impeccable spa facilities, spacious rooms, or delectable breakfast, this hotel exceeds expectations in every aspect. A truly unforgettable experience that I would recommend without hesitation.

I had a fantastic stay at a beautiful historic building on the river. The lobby was impressive with lots of marble and handcrafted furniture. The staff at reception were polite and helpful. My room riverside had a bright and gorgeous view. The renovated rooms were comfortable with wall-to-wall carpeting. The extensive wellness zone and restaurant were great additions. I enjoyed the nice walks along the river. I'll recommend this hotel for its charm and great location.

Great building, good breakfast. Excellent furnishing, everything furnished with love and attention to detail everywhere, lots of charm, attention to nostalgia, beautiful location!
There is no air conditioning in the rooms and it was 35-36 degrees outside! The swimming pool was being repaired and could not be used. Room service weak. Outside lighting in the hotel somewhat neglected.

Stunning River View: The rooms at this hotel offer more than just a view, they provide a front-row seat to the majestic River Lahn. It's like having your own private nature documentary playing outside your window.
Limited Internet Access: The only downside I experienced during my stay was the unreliable internet connection in the room.

Stayed at a majestic hotel in a deserted spa town. The single room was small but adequate. Superb breakfast and OK evening meal. The staff and owner were extremely helpful. Impressive bar. Spectacular location with stunning views. Faded grandeur with a beautiful setting and a buzzy feel. Worth the money.
Recommend this hotel.

This charming hotel has a prime location directly on the river. The elegant rooms are spacious with modern, marble bathrooms. The friendly staff provides excellent service, and the breakfast is delicious. Guests can enjoy the indoor pool and hot tub, as well as rent bikes for a lovely ride along the river’s bike paths. The lobby bar is an ideal spot for a nightcap with a game of pool.
Some guests have found the decor and furnishings to be outdated.

The breakfast was great, every morning there was champagne and salmon, everything was there, from fresh fruit, muesli, freshly prepared egg dishes. Only one thing: no one needs canned fruit when there are so many options
There was nothing to complain about.

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel. The location on the riverfront in a magnificent park was very scenic and peaceful. The hotel facilities were also wonderful, giving us everything we needed for our stay. The staff were friendly and always on hand to help. Additionally, the breakfast was amazing, with a rich and tasty buffet that surpassed our expectations.
Nothing everything was great.

The opulent breakfast buffet, the wellness area and the location of the hotel are excellent. The view of the Lahn (book rooms with river view!) is fantastic and the public areas (lobby etc.) are very luxurious and elegant.
The rooms and the corridors on the individual floors are quite old-fashioned and dark (especially the carpets / curtains and the furniture), but nevertheless very well maintained.

Luxury experience, clean premises, helpful staff, beautiful decor, big wellness area, comfortable pool and whirlpool.
Nothing that I didn't like.

The quiet location, splendid equipment, the pool
The breakfast was disappointing. Does not correspond in any case to the Ambiete. Hardly any selection of sausage and cheese, the bread was dry, except sliced tomato, cucumber and paprika (probably already prepared the evening before) as well as the fruit plate with melon and pineapple were anything but fresh. We have had much better breakfast buffets in less expensive hotels.
